Resin usually refers to an organic polymer that has a softening or melting range after being heated, and has a tendency to flow under the action of external force when softened. It is a solid, semi-solid, or liquid organic polymer at room temperature. Broadly speaking, any polymer that can be used as a raw material for plastic products processing is called a resin.
Plastic refers to a material that uses resin (or directly polymerized with monomers during processing) as the main component, and additives such as plasticizers, fillers, lubricants, and colorants as auxiliary components, which can flow and shape during processing.
